Drought hits Isimangaliso Wetlands rhino
Updated | By Anelisa Kubhake
The Isimangaliso Wetlands Park has moved six of its Rhino from its park because of the severe drought being experienced currently.
KZN has been hard-hit by the drought with several farmers reporting losses to their flock.
Isimangaliso CEO Andre Zoulimi says everything possible is being done to assist the remaining animals.
"The rest will be left where they are. They will be monitored intensively to make sure their condition improves. If their condition does not improve or we do not see more rain going into the new year then we will reconsider this operation", he said.
