Cosatu calls for an end to destruction of university property

The tripartite alliance in KZN says it supports the call for the free tertiary education - but condemns the torching and destruction of infrastructure.
Cosatu's Edwin Mkhize says they have always called for free tertiary education.

"We support the interventions that the government is doing, and we want to see those intervention being speeded up - so that we are able to realize the calls for free education. But over and above that we are saying that the things that are happening now, are really cause for worry," he said.
