Cops linked to Nathaniel Julies murder to remain behind bars

The case again two police officers accused of killing 16-year-old Nathaniel Julies from Eldorado Park has been postponed for a week.
Simon Ndyalvana and Caylene Whiteboy appeared at the Protea Glen Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The pair are being charged with murder, discharging a firearm in public, possession of ammunition and defeating the administration of justice.
The matter was remanded for further investigation and for Caylene to obtain legal representation.
Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in Gauteng Phindi Mjonondwane says they cannot rule out more arrests.
"The matter was postponed as accused number two was not legally represented and she will be now be given an opportunity to secure legal representation.
"Investigations are ongoing, we will be guided by the investigation as to whether or not there are more arrests to be made."
The pair will appear in court again on September 10 and will remain in custody.
