Condolences pour in for victims of Umzinto crash
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The organisers of the KAP Sani2C, who have paid a visit to grieving families, say they're devastated by the deaths of seven of their crew members who lost their lives in a double-vehicle crash in Umzinto this weekend.
Six people were killed when two cars collided head-on on the R612 on Saturday evening. One later died in hospital.
Event founder, Glen Haw says the group had been long-serving employees of the race. In a statement, Haw says they're in shock and are heartbroken for the families of the victims.
The statement further says this a massive loss to the Sani2c and Ixopo communities.
