Classes put on hold at Mangosuthu University
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
Classes at the Mangosuthu University of Technology remain suspended due to problems with student accommodation.
SRC president, Sandile Dlamini, says many students have not been able to get a place to stay - delaying the start of the academic year at the institution.
Dlamini says they will be meeting with University management today to find a way forward.
"So far - there's no strike. We have just stopped the processes. Let's allow every operational matter that needs to be attended to be attended to. Once done with that - we should have a way forward to say whether we should go for classes or keep them suspended," he says.
