DA premier candidate in KZN and Umngeni Mayor, Chris Pappas has pledged to eradicate corruption and expedite the provision of services.
He was speaking at the party's Rescue KZN rally at Curries Fountain Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
Pappas said the DA is the only party that is getting the job done and fighting back against the ANC in the province.
He told supporters it's his party that will bring the water crisis in the Ugu district to an end.

Pappas says they understand the urgency to end the suffering of the people of KZN.
"As your Premier I will work to create 300 000 real jobs and I will make sure that we will end this system where only those 18 to 35 years can access opportunities.
"We cannot talk about jobs if we do not end loadshedding, and we will hard to end it," said Pappas.
