Chatsworth community to gather outside court after principal's murder

Chatsworth residents say they will head to the courts in their numbers when the suspect arrested in connection with the murder of a well-known former school principal makes his first appearance in the dock.
Gona Pillay was stabbed to death in a brutal home invasion in Silverglen earlier this week.
Her husband, Logie was critically hurt.

Officers arrested the suspect two days after the attack.
The Bayview Community Policing Forum's Brandon Pillay says the community is hopeful more arrests will be made soon.

"We just glad the police were able to catch the suspect. We want them to be arrested. If his appearance is on Tuesday, we definitely will be there," he said.
Gona Pillay is the former principal of Southlands Secondary.
The couple was attacked by a group of suspects allegedly posing as potential home buyers.
