Car ploughs into 3 workers in Phoenix
Three municipal workers have been injured after a car lost control and drove into them before crashing into a wall in Phoenix north of Durban.
The men were standing on the side of the road when the car veered in their direction.
KZN EMS's Robert McKenzie says the accident took place on Tapford Road.
"The car [that ploughed into] the wall left the three people injured. Sadly, one person is in a critical condition.
"Paramedics from KZN EMS as well as several private ambulance services treated the patients at the scene and in the area for continued medical care," he said.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
