Calm restored at George Campbell School
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
It has emerged members of Black First Land First showed up at George Campbell School of Technology in Durban - where schooling was disrupted again today.
There have been protests by pupils at the school over the last two weeks - over alleged racism.
This morning, classes were disrupted by pupils who are apparently unhappy over the suspension of a schoolboy accused of orchestrating recent protest action.
Police say burning tyres were thrown over the school fence while two people were arrested after being found with petrol.

Education's Kwazi Mthethwa says officers had to help calm the situation at the school.
"There's an interest group, they go by the name of BLF, that were in support of those learners who were protesting at the school. What we have done is make sure that the police were there to disperse everyone. I can confirm that the process of teaching and learning is underway and everything is running smoothly," he said.
Mthethwa says two staff members have also been suspended while the racism allegations are being investigated.
