Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The Health
Professions Council of South Africa says two suspected bogus doctors, who were
arrested in KwaMashu, must face the full might of the law.
The duo, aged 38 and 74, are expected to appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrate's Court on Monday on fraud charges.
The friends were arrested on Friday after police got information about people in P Section who were issuing fraudulent medical certificates for R50 a note.

A police officer posed as a customer and approached the suspects who gave him a fake doctor's note.
During a search, police found several blank medical certificates from private doctors and public hospitals from around the province.
The council's Christopher Tsatsawane said: "The HPCSA takes this incident in a very serious light and we would like to emphasis that all criminal activities will be reported to law enforcement agencies as this poses a health risk to our unsuspecting communities."
