Body of teen found on north coast

After three days of searching, the body of a teenager who drowned on the north coast has been found.
The 19-year-old got into difficulty in the water at Blythdale Beach while swimming with friends on Saturday evening.
Paul Herbst from IPSS Medical Rescue says he was found by lifeguards this afternoon, about 2 kilometres from where he disappeared.
”IPSS Medical Rescue together with KwaDukuza lifeguards, Durban dive unit from SAPS and Umhlali K9 unit have recovered the body of a 19-year-old boy.
“The body was retrieved by the KwaDukuza lifeguards on Malibu boards when he was spotted earlier this afternoon.”
