Body of man found near Blythedale beach

A body of a man has been found near Blythedale beach in KwaDukuza.

IPSS Medical Rescue says he is believed to have been in his thirties or forties.
Spokesperson Dylan Meyrick says the body has been in the water for approximately five days.

He says the body has been handed over to police for further investigation.
"It appears it had washed down the Umvoti River to the river mouth where it was washed out on the sand on the northern side of the river mouth.
"Unfortunately, the body had started decomposing."
