The NPA announced yesterday that it will bring 16 charges against Zuma.

NPA boss Shaun Abrahams said the charges include corruption, money laundering and racketeering.

The charges relate to the multi-billion Rand 'Arms Deal'.

De Lille says she will stand as a witness.

"Zuma has been asking for his day in court and now finally those charges against him will be tested," she said.

She believes the Seriti Commission was a waste of taxpayer's money with a pre-determined outcome.

"While I welcome the decision by the NPA, they finally made the right decision, but they should have made this decision before we wasted millions of Rands of taxpayers' money on the Seriti Commission," she said.
