ANC confident of 2016 elections win
The ruling African National Congress (ANC), says it has no doubt it will win the upcoming local government elections. Spokesperson, Zizi Kodwa says the party's preparations for the elections started a year ago.
Kodwa says that 2015 was a very dynamic year for the ANC, which learnt a lot.
"We are clear on the things that we need to do differently and what are the things we can do better including our selection of candidates. It is the public, among other things, that finally will decide whether a candidate enjoys support among the people or not," he said.
The ANC will celebrate its 104th anniversary in North-West next weekend.
The president will deliver the party's annual January 8th statement, setting the tone for the party's plans for the country.
