ANC 110th anniversary 'won't be lavish' says party

The ANC says the party's 110th anniversary will be celebrated under strict Covid-19 regulations.
"The ANC will celebrate its anniversay physically in Limpopo on Saturday. After it was unable to do so the previous year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic."
The party's organising head Nomvula Makonyane has been briefing the media on their preparations for this weekend's event.
She says due to outstanding salaries and benefits owed to staff - it won't be a lavish affair.

"We can't go overboard when our own staff members haven't been paid salaries and benefits, so we are aware that we can't go overboard."
"What we will remain humbled about is that our team is working, is not outsourced but volunteering and availing themselves."
