Almost 140 thousand health care workers vaccinated against COVID-19

A further 95 COVID-19 related deaths were reported, which brings the total to 51 110
deaths.
As of Thursday night, the total cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in South Africa was 1 525 648.
This is according to the Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize's latest update on the Coronavirus pandemic.
The cumulative total of tests conducted to date is 9 369 594 with 33 493 new tests recorded since the last report.

The Western Cape and Free State have the most active cases in the country at 5 216 and 3 835 respectively.
A further 95 Coivd-19 related deaths were reported, which brings the total to 51 110 deaths.
Recoveries now stand at 1 447 503, representing a recovery rate of 94,8%.
The number of health care workers vaccinated under the Sisonke Protocol stood at 138 014.
