Alleged Durban con artist wanted for similar crimes

The Durban woman wanted by Pietermaritzburg police for allegedly extorting R150-000 from a local businessman, has a number of other cases opened against her in the greater Durban area.
On Monday, police asked for assistance on the whereabouts of 39-year-old Aruna Seebran - whom they have a warrant of arrest for.
Police say since they released the statement, new information has surfaced about Seebran who is from Hillary.
A source close to the investigation has told Newswatch that Seebran is alleged to have blackmailed the Pietermartizburg businessman into giving her the R150-000.
The woman is believed to be a con artist and has other cases opened against her in uMbilo, Westville and Sydenham.
It has also emerged that she is alleged to have stolen R1-million worth of jewellery from a Durban woman.
