Activist accuses govt of stalling tobacco case

A consumer activist has accused the government of stalling on the controversial tobacco ban issue.
Cigarettes and other tobacco products are not allowed to be sold under Level 3 lockdown.
The prohibition order's been in place since the end of March, when the total lockdown took effect.
The Fair-Trade Independent Tobacco Association's challenging the ban in court.
The Cooperative Governance Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma this week asked for more time to prepare.

Bev Maclean feels government's trying to delay the case.
"If this is about the government trying to save face, we the smokers and friends of the smokers are forgiving. All we ask is that government admit their mistake and lift the ban in all levels."
