ActionSA's Makhosi Khoza to contest eThekwini mayorship during upcoming elections

Former African National Congress (ANC) MP Makhosi Khoza will stand as ActionSA's mayoral candidate for eThekwini for the upcoming municipal elections.
Former African National Congress (ANC) MP Makhosi Khoza will stand as ActionSA's mayoral candidate for eThekwini for the upcoming municipal elections.
Party founder Herman Mashaba made the announcement on Monday.
Khoza is currently the party's chairperson in KwaZulu-Natal.
Action SA's national spokesperson, Lerato Ngobeni said: "Dr Khoza brings her tried and tested ethical leadership, competence, decades of political experience at national and local spheres of government and a deep desire to see eThekwini transformed into a thriving and inclusive city that allows all its residents to lead dignified and productive lives.
"As residents prepare to head to the polls in the coming weeks they now have a viable alternative that they can vote for."
