Six in court for KZN police killings
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Six suspects will be appearing before the Ntuzuma Magistrate's Court soon after they were arrested on Sunday in connection with last year's wave of police killings in the province.
The suspects, aged between 18 and 60, have allegedly been linked to the murders that occurred in KwaMashu and in the Gingindlovu area.
KZN Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says the SAPS received a tip-off about the suspects' whereabouts in Eshowe in northern KZN.
"They raided a homestead and they arrested six suspects. They were all arrested for murder as well as business robberies. The other business robberies were reported in various places in the northern and southern part of Durban as well," he said.
