3 cyclists struck by taxi on M4

3 cyclists have been hurt after they were knocked down by a taxi along the M4, just before the Umdloti offramp, this morning.
Details around the incident are not fully known at this point. A number of services responded, one of them being Netcare 911. Spokesperson, Shawn Herbst says Advanced Life Support paramedics had to be called in to due the severity of injuries sustained by one of the cyclists.
"One of the cyclists sustained critical injuries and was treated on scene by Advanced Life Support paramedics", he said.
"Two other cyclists - both males - sustained moderate injuries. Once stabilised patients were transported to hospital for further treatment", Herbst said.
