261 deaths, 3 751 new Covid-19 cases detected in SA

Two hundred and sixty-one more people, who contracted Covid-19 in South Africa, have died - pushing the death toll to 45 605.
KZN's lost 56 lives, in the last 24 hour period - while active cases in the province remain just over 42 000.
Three thousand seven hundred and fifty-one new infections have been recorded countrywide.
Over 1 466 000 coronavirus cases have been confirmed since March last year - 1 327 186 of those people are now better - which translates to a recovery rate of 90,5%.
