23 pupils injured in Ntuzuma mini-bus crash
More than 20 children have been hurt in a double-vehicle crash in Ntuzuma.
The crash occurred on Thursday morning.
A mini-bus taxi transporting the pupils to school collided with an SUV on Mafukuzela Road.
It's not known what caused the collision at this stage.
"Medics assessed the scene a found approximately 23 children who had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious," says Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst.
“All the patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further care."
