15 hurt in Pinetown taxi intersection crash

15 people have been hurt after a minibus taxi failed to stop and crashed into a car at an intersection on the M1 Richmond Road, just over the N3 Highway, in Pinetown, this morning.
It is not fully understood why the taxi driver failed to stop, resulting in a T-bone fashion crash.Rescue Care paramedics immediately responded and found occupants had sustained various injuries.
The service's Garrith Jamieson multiple services had to respond due the high number of injured individuals.
"Multiple casualties were reported and immediately multiple services were dispatched. A total 15 people were injured and stabilized on scene", he said.
"At this stage details are unknown but SAPS were on scene and will investigate further.", Jamieson said.
