Tyla, Zara Larsson give Britney Spears a shout-out in new song

She did it again! Tyla is back with a brand new song, and it is a banger.

Tyla has teamed up with Swedish singer Zara Larsson on her new single, 'She Did It Again'. The 'Water' hitmaker also released the song's steamy music video on YouTube.

Social media users say the visuals remind them of Beyoncé and Shakira in 'Beautiful Liar' while others likened it to Rihanna and Shakira's 'Can't Remember to Forget You'.

"They're giving us vibes of Shakira with Beyoncé in 2007 and Shakira with Rihanna in 2014. Good job," one YouTube user commented.

An Instagram user commented: "Close enough, welcome back Shakira and Rihanna."

Tyla roped in Aerin Moreno for the visuals. The Los Angeles-based director also helmed Tyla's 'Chanel'

and 'Push 2 Start' music videos.

'Push 2 Strat' won 'Best Afrobeats' at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards and 'Best African Music Performance' at the 2026 Grammys.

Moreno has also worked with Tate McRae, Blackpink's LISA, and Madison Beer.

Tyla and Larsson pay homage to one of the world's most loved pop princesses - Britney Spears.

"Oops, did it again like Britney, that's how it is/ That's all I know, not like anyone you met before me/ Keep it in the dark, keep secrets between you and I/ You know I'm a star, don't fly too close to me, you'll fall," Larsson sings, per Genius.

Tyla sings, "Uh-oh, uh-oh, She did it again/ Even when you feel like you can/ You can't get me out of your head."

Larsson showed the 24-year-old some love on the song's release day.

"Thank you, my girl @tyla for having me on this songgggg I love it, and I love you!" she wrote.

'She Did It Again' is the second single from Tyla's sophomore album, 'A-Pop'. The album is expected to be released sometime in 2026.

"I feel so different to how I felt during the first album. So I’m just excited for my new one that’s coming," she said, per Rolling Stone.

"I feel like the first album, it was very hectic, it was a rush. It was like, all of a sudden, overnight craziness. So now that I’m settled in, I feel like I know more about my direction and what I want to do, what I want to say."
