Kanye West's controversial gospel album, 'Jesus Is King',  just earned the rapper another impressive title.

The 43-year-old is the number one gospel artist of 2020. The offering, which was released in late 2019,  is still the number one album on Billboard's 'Top Gospel Album' chart.

The album, which has spent 54 weeks at No.1,  also claimed the number one spot on the 'Top Gospel Albums' year-end list.

Its lead track, 'Follow God', is the number one gospel song of the year.

Kanye also has a connection to the No. 2 Christian Album of 2020.

The Sunday Service Choir, which is led by Kanye,  is in the runner up position thanks to their debut studio album, 'Jesus Is Born'.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard is the top female gospel artist of the year and number three on the overall 'Top Gospel Artists' chart - behind Kirk Franklin and Kanye.

'You Say' hitmaker, Lauren Daigle, is number one on the 'Top Christian Artists' year-end chart.
