Jennifer Hudson's ex-fiancé David Otunga has been granted temporary primary custody of their eight-year-old son, David Jr.

Sources told TMZ that the former couple reached an agreement that will see the boy living with his dad for the majority of the time while Jennifer Hudson is in London working on 'The Voice UK'.

The publication also revealed that the Grammy Award-winning singer dropped her emergency order of protection against David Sr. - which prohibited him from contacting her. The order also required him to get written permission to see their son.

She reportedly stated in legal documents that David had shown “increasingly aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior” towards her.

Jennifer removed the order on Monday, and David has agreed not to return to their former family home.

The couple, who were together for nearly 10 years, announced their shocking split just two weeks ago.
