Ntsiki Mazwai is feeling the wrath of Twitter after saying that Beyoncé is only considered pretty because she has light skin.

The controversial poet caused a stir on Twitter this week when sharing "another unpopular opinion". She took a swipe at Queen B's looks.

Beyoncé made an appearance at the Oscars on Sunday night. She wowed the audience with a powerful performance of 'Be Alive' from the movie 'King Richard'.

Despite Will Smith's drama with Chris Rock stealing the show, social media users couldn't stop raving about how amazing Beyoncé was on the night.

Everyone except Ntsiki.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:

Ntsiki had a lot to say about Will slapping Chris at the ceremony but could not let the Oscars topic rest without throwing some shade at Queen B.

"One more unpopular opinion.... Iv never thought Beyonce was pretty, just light skin privelege (sic). Morning!!!!!!" she wrote about the 40-year-old singer.

One Twitter user responded to Ntsiki by sharing a picture of the 'Halo' singer looking stunning.

Ntsiki brushed off the image saying: "Make up and weaves is not my standard of beauty sthandwa Sam..."

Social media users were less than impressed with Ntsiki's remarks. One Twitter user said there is probably a bad spirit roaming around Ntsiki "because there’s no way one person just wakes up being vile unprovoked".

Another user said Ntsiki should focus on the work women are doing and not their looks.

"What's this obsession with pointing out how "not beautiful" black women are? No other race does this to their women, but we're obsessed with it. Beyonce is not a beauty queen mos, why must she meet our "beauty standards". Talk about her work, not her looks."
