South Africa is a beautiful country, and the latest Hollywood star to admire its beauty is actor Richard T. Jones.

The Hollywood star was in South Africa for Comic Con Africa, which took place from 24 to 27 September at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec. The four-day pop culture and gaming festival featured tonnes of fun activities, international celebrities, gaming, comics, and other experiences.

Speaking to The Citizen about his time in South Africa, the actor, who plays Mike in 'Why Did I Get Married Again', said: "I love South Africa."

It seems Jones isn’t the only one in his family who has fallen in love with the country. He also revealed that him and his wife have been discussing retiring in Mzansi.

"South Africa is probably a place that me and my wife are considering retiring. Not considering – she’s like, we’re moving this up,” Jones told the publication.

"We love everything about everything. We’re definitely going to end up here."

He also added that he loves the people in South Africa.

“Countries are really known by their people. One thing about South Africa, the people just love not only each other, but they love their country. Every time I get off a plane here, I’m welcomed like people have known me for years. It’s amazing.”

It appears Jones specifically had his sights on Johannesburg, Cape Town and Hermanus as places that captured his heart.

His comments come shortly after another Hollywood star, Raven-Symoné, shared her appreciation for South Africa.

Raven-Symoné was in the country while filming 'Cheetah Girls: Next Gen' and visited both Cape Town and Durban. During her time in South Africa, she praised the country’s beauty and described the people and atmosphere as warm and inviting.

“When I tell you the beauty that is in this country and all over, I’ve been to Durban, and there too, the beauty of it, the earth itself,” she told a Cape Town radio station.
