Harry Styles makes surprise move ahead of the new year

The former One Direction singer has been keeping a low profile - until now.

Is Harry Styles making a comeback in 2026?

That's the question fans are asking after the British singer uploaded a surprise video to his YouTube page. The 31-year-old has not released new music in over two years and has been relatively quiet since then.

However, over the weekend, the 'As It Was' singer's team shared the live instrumental version of his song, 'Forever, Forever'.

It shows Styles playing the piano during the final concert of his 'Love On Tour' in July 2023. He was performing at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

The video opens with fans gathered outside the arena, waiting for the show to begin.

"Some sadness because it is the last show, then he will disappear," one fan said. "We won't see him dancing on stages anymore," another fan added.

It then cuts to Styles waving to the audience as he walks on stage in a gold two-piece outfit. He heads straight to a black piano.

"I wrote this for you," he says in Italian. He then performs the instrumental song. Fans listen quietly while he plays the piano. Some even start to cry.

The video concludes with fans chanting "Harry" while a text appears on the screen: "We belong together."

The singer's fans are now convinced that he is hinting at a comeback.

"I choose to read this as Harry telling us, 'Don't worry, I'm coming back soon'. Homies, let's be ready for 2026," one commented on YouTube.

Some say Styles is bidding a final goodbye to the 'Love On Tour' era before embarking on a new music journey.

"Man’s had been touring since 2010. That’s a LONG time. And a lot of pressure. Not to mention losing a former bandmate, a brother. I hope he can just live his life in peace."

Styles has also been keeping a low profile on social media. His last Instagram post, which was shared in October 2024, features a picture of former One Direction member Liam Payne.

He shared the image shortly after Payne died. If the singer is gearing up for a comeback in 2026, he won't be the only One Direction member releasing new music.

Louis Tomlinson's third solo album, ‘How Did I Get Here?’, will debut in January. Niall Horan reportedly also has plans to release a new album in 2026.

Zayn Malik, who released a duet with Blackpink's Jisoo in October, will also be busy in the new year. He will perform a seven-night residency in Las Vegas next month.
