DJ Zinhle voted Africa's top female DJ of 2021

DJ Zinhle is ending 2021 on a high. DJaneTop released its Top 100 female DJs of 2021. The online website, which focuses on female DJs, shines the spotlight on DJs from all over the world. 

It named DJ Zinhle the number one DJ in Africa after tallying up the votes for this year's list. Belgium's Charlotte de Witte was named the top female DJ in the world. 

DJ Zinhle beat DBN Gogo (#2) and Lerato Kganyago (#3) to claim the top spot in Africa. The reality star beat DBN Gogo by more than 9,000 votes. 

It's Zinhle's fourth year in a row bagging #1. 

"Africa’s no1 Female DJ @djanetop. The #ZeeNation fights for this one every year, thank you DJaneTop," the reality star tweeted. 

Dineo Ranaka, who also made the list, congratulated Zinhle on her achievement.

“Congratulations mami! I’m chasing your spot you know this right #inspirationalcompetition. That time I’m all the way at 20,” she commented on Instagram.

DJ Zinhle gave birth to her second baby, Asante, in September. She is back at work and taking bookings for the festive season. 

While Zinhle's net worth is unknown, it will cost you around R100,000 to book her for a gig! 

The other South African DJs who made the top 10 are Amar Million, Miss Pru, DJ Kasi Duch, and Lamiez Holworthy.

"Thank you to my children all OVER Africa that keep lifting me higher and higher even in my absence🔥MOTHER appreciates YOU," Lerato wrote on Instagram.

DBN Gogo was also excited about making the top three. 

"Congratulations to all the ladies. It’s been a year," she wrote. 

Lerato was one of the first to congratulate her. "Congratulations mama. Well deserved."
