'Fela In Versace' rapper AKA says he will be taking legal action against the Daily Sun after the publication claimed that he "moered" Nadia Nakai at the weekend.

The incident allegedly took place while the couple was in Ghana. A source claimed that AKA and Nadia had a heated argument that ended with him assaulting her.

AKA shared a cryptic post on his Instagram Story that also raised a few eyebrows.

"I will never let another woman degrade me again," he wrote.  The couple allegedly unfollowed and then followed each other on Instagram.

AKA has rubbished the assault claims.

The 34-year-old shared a statement on his Twitter page that described their trip to Ghana as "fun and beautiful".

"What we took to be light interactions with industry peers and associates has now been twisted by outsiders. Just to clear the air there was no physical nor verbal altercation between us. We are fine and there's no drama between us, we are basking in our individual success from this amazing trip," the statement read.

He has threatened to sue the Daily sun over its “false, malicious, and defamatory article".  He shared images of the letter his lawyers sent to the publication.

Nadia also quashed the rumours. She told the Daily Sun no assault took place.

"We just got into an argument and that is all," the publication quoted her as saying.
