'Small medical facility needed on Mount Kilimanjaro': Letshego Zulu
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
Letshego Zulu spoke briefly at her husband's funeral currently underway at the Rhema Bible Church in Johannesburg.
Zulu was part of the Trek For Mandela team climbing the mountain as part of a charity drive to provide feminine hygiene products for school girls.
It's reported that after he experienced difficulty breathing, it took four hours to get him down to the gate of the park before he could be rushed to hospital.
Letshego says the health facility should be at Horombo on the mountain.
Gauteng Premier David Makhura says Zulu used his position to make a difference.
Makhura says Zulu wanted to see others thrive.
