Updated | By Benedict Ngwenya
Forty-six-year old Nokuthula Magwanyana's body was found with stab wounds in her car in a ditch off Table Mountain Road in Pietermaritzburg yesterday afternoon.
It is believed she was returning home from school at the time of the incident.
Her former colleague says he is struggling to come to terms with her passing.
"I'm really shocked by Nokuthula's passing. I worked very well with her and she was good at her job. The children, community and the children really liked her. That's why I'm so shocked," he said.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says they are appealing to the public for help in finding Magwanyana's killers.
"She sustained severe injuries on her body. A case of murder was then opened for further investigation and no arrests have been made," he said.
