Police nab two suspects in PMB for attempted murder, drug possession

Two suspects will appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court tomorrow on charges of attempted murder and possession of drugs - after a man was seriously wounded in a shooting in the city, yesterday.
Police say the victim was found shot on Boshoff Street in the CBD, and rushed to hospital where he is recovering.

Spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says they tracked down the car of the alleged shooters. He says the car was full of drugs - adding that two people were arrested.
"Two suspects were found inside and then arrested. The third suspect managed to flee the scene. When the members searched the vehicle, they found 34 tablets of mandrax as well as heroine, and therefore the two suspects were charged with possession of drugs, as well," he said.
