LISTEN: Student protests erupt at DUT
A group of students at the Durban University of Technology is making its way around the ML Sultan campus, removing students from lectures.
Students from institutions across the country have been protesting since Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande's announcement on fee increases for 2017.

Meanwhile, a fire tore through a residence building at the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Maritzburg campus today.
The entrance to the William O'Brien res was set alight at about six this morning.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze.
Protests have also erupted at the Tshwane University of Technology this morning.
Student organisations from all opposition parties except the DA were protesting at TUT earlier today.
They are demanding the immediate implementation of free higher education by Minister Blade Nzimande.
Protesting students at TUT have been burning tires and dustbins amongst a heavy police presence.
