KZN likely to get more violent storms: SAWS
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The South African Weather Service says there is a possibility we might experience more violent storms similar to Friday's in the coming week.

A major storm lashed parts of KZN on Friday night leaving at least five people dead in the eThekwini area and more than a dozen others hurt. Others had their homes damaged in areas including Cato Manor.
Forecaster at the weather service, Wiseman Dlamini, says we will need to keep a close eye on weather forecasts so we do not find ourselves caught up in the storms.
"In terms of the general forecast for the upcoming week there is a 30% chance forecasted, which means there could still be one or two storms expected in parts of KZN.
"So this means we cannot rule out the possibility of more storms ahead," he said.
