Durban woman critical after home invasion attack
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
A Durban woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in an apparent home invasion.
Emergency services who responded to the call-out in Vause Road at about 1pm today say the domestic worker was found in a serious condition.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says an advanced life support paramedic stabilised the woman, thought to be in her 40s, on scene before rushing her to hospital.
"When we arrived there, we were shown into the residence and there was a lot of blood. It was a violent attack and the lady was found severely injured, lying on the floor," he said.
