Durban police are appealing to members of the public who might have information - to come forward after the body of a newborn baby was found in the Durban North area yesterday.
Durban police are appealing to members of the public who might have information - to come forward after the body of a newborn baby was found in the Durban North area yesterday.
The baby was found by contractors in Park Hill who had been repairing a wall that had collapsed.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says they are yet to identify the gender of the baby as the body was decomposed.
"The Greenwood Park SAPS is investigating after the decomposed body of a newborn baby was found yesterday at the Blackburn Sports grounds. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated."
No arrests have yet been made.
