Mi Casa calls on South African government to save black lives
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Mi Casa have asked the leaders
of our country to stand up, speak up, and take action against the black lives that are being killed.
South African band Mi Casa have raised their voice, calling for an end towards the brutal killings of blacks.
This comes after George Floyd, Collins Khosa, Adane Emmanuel, Petrus Miggels, and Sibusiso Amos all died after encounters with law enforcement officers during the lockdown.
Their brutal killings reignited movements such as '#BlackLivesMatter' and 'In Solidarity With the Fight for Freedom'.
Some of the celebrities who have spoken out against the brutal killings include Adele, AKA, and Trevor Noah.

On Monday, Mi Casa took to Instagram to ask the South African government to intervene.
“To the leaders of our country - stand, speak up and take action. This CANNOT continue. We have so much to lose if we break the unity we have so long worked to build!” they wrote.
