Drake breaks Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder's chart record

Drake officially has the most number-one singles on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in its history.

Laugh now, cry later? We don't think Drake will be crying anytime soon.

The rapper recently broke a record set by Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.

'Laugh Now Cry Later' claimed the top spot on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart - earning Drake his 21st No. 1 single on the chart.

He previously tied with Aretha and Stevie - who both have 20 hits.

Drake now holds the number one position by himself and it might be a while before anyone overtakes him.

James Brown has 17 number one hits on the chart, Janet Jackson 16, and The Temptations 15. 

Drake broke another music record in 2020.

He snatched Madonna's record for most Billboard Top 10 hits. 

Drake's new album, 'Certified Lover Boy', is expected to drop in January 2020.
