The Kajal Bagwandeen dessert recipe we can't get enough of
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Shared by actress Kajal Bagwandeen, this Filipino mango float looks so delicious that it will have you drooling.
Are you someone with a serious sweet tooth? Then this dessert recipe is definitely for you.
Kajal Bagwandeen recently took to Instagram to share her version of a Filipino Mango Float, describing it as a “real crowd-pleaser” that is simply too good not to share. And judging by the pictures alone, we couldn’t agree more.
While the recipe requires mangoes, and mango season in South Africa typically runs from November to May, there are still late-season mangoes available in some stores.
The dessert combines fresh mangoes, whipped cream, condensed milk, vanilla, a pinch of salt, and Tennis biscuits to create a rich and indulgent treat.
To make it, whip together the cream and condensed milk before adding the vanilla and salt. In a small serving dish, spread a layer of the cream mixture before adding a layer of Tennis biscuits. Top with chopped or sliced mangoes and repeat the layers. Arrange the mango slices carefully to create a beautiful rose-like pattern on top.
The result is a dessert that looks stunning enough to impress anyone at the table.
Whether you’re treating yourself after a long week, looking for something special to serve guests, or simply searching for a new dessert to try, this mango float definitely looks like a hit.
