These #hashtags are banned on Twitter

Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms. 

As of the first quarter of 2021, it had 199-million daily active users worldwide, reports statista.com. 

Millions of people around the world use the platform to connect and raise awareness about issues that affect them. 

Twitter has also changed the way the public consumes information. It is one of the first platforms people go to for news. 

Users use #Hashtags within a post to help those who may be interested in a certain topic to be able to find it when they search.

Banned hashtags

According to Twitter's rules and regulations, hateful conduct, suicide or self-harm, sensitive media, illegal or certain regulated goods or services, violence, terrorism/violent extremism, including graphic violence, and adult content are all prohibited. 

However, some people have created hashtags where they posted inappropriate content.
