Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Wet weather conditions are continuing to wreak havoc on the province's roads - with multiple accidents reported throughout the day.
A man has died while being rushed to hospital in the Tugela area. Netcare911 says he'd been involved in a head-on collision on the N2 in the area.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says paramedics were traveling back from the Richards Bay - when they came across the accident.
"Paramedics arrived there - there was absolute carnage there. When they went to investigate, they found one vehicle had two occupants, the other three. Four people remain in a critical condition," he said.
