Durban is getting ready for an even bigger night of R&B as Tamia Live in Durban moves to Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on Friday, 7 August 2026.
The highly anticipated concert was originally scheduled to take place at the Durban ICC, but the move to Kingsmead gives fans a larger venue, more space and the opportunity to experience Tamia’s much-loved catalogue in a bigger live-event atmosphere.
The venue change comes as the Durban ICC prepares to host the 46th SADC Heads of State and Government Summit, one of the region’s most significant diplomatic gatherings.
Rather than disrupting the concert, organisers have worked together to ensure Tamia’s Durban fans can still enjoy the show as planned — now against the backdrop of one of the city’s best-known sporting and entertainment venues.
Bigger venue, same Tamia experience
Fans can still expect the full Tamia live experience, including spectacular production, outstanding musicians and the songs that have made her one of R&B’s most recognisable voices.
From “Officially Missing You” and “So Into You” to “Stranger in My House”, the evening promises a mix of fan favourites, world-class entertainment and a bigger concert atmosphere at Kingsmead.
For existing ticket holders, there is also no need to purchase another ticket.
All tickets originally purchased for the Durban ICC will be allocated new tickets for Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, with seats moved to the next best available seating arrangement. There will be no additional payment or ticket exchange required.
