Hop, skip and jump to Gateway's holiday fitness club this Easter
Gateway Theatre of Shopping is getting young people moving with the Have a Ball fitness club.
Moms and dads looking for a fun activity that keeps children active during the Easter holidays should pay a visit to the Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
The popular Durban mall launched a school holiday play zone, "designed to get young people moving, playing and enjoying time together
The Have a Ball Fun & Fitness Club opened on Monday, March 30, and will run until Sunday, April 12.
Instructors from Virgin Active gym will help children "keep energy levels up" with guided workouts. Some of the activities include:
- Dance session (11:00 - 12:00)
- Interactive board game (12:00 - 13:00)
- Boxing sessions (13:00 - 14:00)
- Team-based challenges (14:00 - 15:00)
- Afternoon dance session (15:00 - 16:00)
The Virgin Active Padel Club will host padel sessions from 11:00 to 13:00. Some other activities to look out for include basketball, soccer, and arts and crafts (11am – 4pm).
"With its mix of movement, play and shared moments - Have a Ball is designed to feel lively, social and just the right amount of active. Participation is R20 per child for a 45-minute session. Children of all ages are welcome under parental or guardian supervision."
