#Comrades2018: South Africans dominate the Ultimate Human Race
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
The Comrades Marathon ended on an all-time high when both the men's and women's races were won by proudly South Africans. We got to chat to both winners about their incredible experience.
Listen as the team chats to Comrades winners Bongumusa Mthembu and Ann Ashworth below, or read the details under the podcast.
Bongumusa Mthembu is no stranger to winning the title, as this is his third win and his first back to back win.
Ann Ashworth, however, won her very first Comrades Marathon, beating Two Oceans winner Gerda Steyn, who led the way for most of the marathon.
