When it rains, it pours and causes complete havoc on the roads, homes and even damaging buildings and the natural environment. Imagine coming home to find your house flooded and damaged and you're unable to do anything, but imagine coming to find massive catfish swimming in your flooded driveway.

A video posted on Dala U Crew's group shows three catfish struggling to swim in the shallow waters of the driveway. The amazing fish can be seen trying to get into deeper waters to survive. The video shows many waterlogged homes due to the severe downpour we have had recently.

According to SoftSchools.comCatfish inhabits freshwater ecosystems such as rivers and streams and their meat is consumed as a delicacy around the world.

One thing remains for sure though, it doesn't matter that the rain has put a damper on the festive season, nature and people will always find the fun during the storm like the Durban man 'rows his boat' in his backyard thanks to heavy KZN rains.
