WATCH: Woman cuts off World's Longest Fingernails!

This must have been every manicurist's dream! Or nightmare?

From the longest tongue (10.1 cm) to the longest ear hair (18.1 cm), if it looks a little stranger than usual, you'll be sure to find it in the Guinness Book Of World Records!

One of the more popular world records, because of the visual that usually accompanies it, is World's Longest Nails.

In 2017, Houston, Texas native Ayanna Williams broke the record for the world's longest fingernails. Her nails at the time were a crazy 5,7m long!

She said that for a usual manicure, she would have to use two bottles of nail polish and the entire manicure could take up to 20 hours to complete.

No nail cutting tool has touched her long talons since 1990, but the time has finally come for her to say goodbye.

They did measure the nails one final time before the ultimate cut and they were a lengthy 7.33m long. How long did her manicure take now? A few days! And she also went through three to four bottles of nail polish. 

A dermatology office in Fort Worth, Texas took on this monstrous challenge and had to use an electric rotary tool to cut through the nails.

Now Ayanna will once again be able to open doors without fear, wash the dishes, and put sheets on her bed, all tasks she was not able to do while she had the nails.

Will she ever grow them out again? Did she cut them off only to start fresh? Apparently not. She said she will only grow them out as long as 15cm max and she wants to encourage a new nail enthusiast to go for the history-making Guinness World Record title.
