Pythons are known to be very large snakes that can even ingest animals such as goats.

So when a 23.5kg pet python, known as Aurora, accidentally ingested a blanket after feeding, its owner rushed it to the vet.

According to Jennifer Wessel, the owner  Aurora had been eating her rabbit and accidentally ate the blanket because the blanket smelt like the rabbit. Wessel says she only noticed when her pet snake looked unusually big and the blanket was missing.

A team of veterinary surgeons performed an endoscopy on the snake and captured the whole procedure.
